This AM we had the race briefing on the course from the directors at Saga Events. The entire course was displayed for us and it will start with 118km of kayaking in the Persian Gulf. The beauty of this paddle is that we will have sails on the boat to make the progress (hopefully) quicker.

From there we are then basically in the desert the rest of the race, where water will be a concern. The other big issue is that part of the desert trek we will have a stinking camel to tote with us. They warned us that a camel is one of the dumbest animals in the word, our expectations aren't too high for this.....great! After the hike we head North and do a good bit of biking in sand (pushing your bike) to the "mountains" of Abu Dhabi. From there we get on some ropes, and then head to the finish at the city of Al Bin. Lots of water folks......
