Goooodddd Morning!!!!What a weekend! I finally have spare energy today. I forget how much it takes to keep my body going for 72 hours strait. Well I mean I know that it takes 250 calories an hour so that would be 18,000 calories to keep me going during the race but I forget how tired I am for a few days afterwards. So today I finally have energy. So much so that I am going to go swim and run. I know, I know. I am one wild and crazy girl.
Actually I am going to a white trash party tonight that will be soooo much fun. Come back on saturday and I will put some pictures up.
Back to the race, I think that my best moment was the sunset while we were in the La Sals and we were cresting a pass at 12,034 (and yes this is the exact elevation, I still have the map) and the sky was lit up in the most beautiful reds and yellows and you could see forever. You could see west past the mountians into the desert and it just took my breath away. Although maybe that was because the wind was blowing about 50 mph. However...it was fantastic.
