Musing and Errata on the world of Adventure Racing from the Yak

The first edition of this new and challenging adventure race will take place from December 9th to 14th, in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The race will follow an itinerary, unfolding the characteristics and the environment of Abu Dhabi: sea kayaking in the Arabian Gulf, exploring the Liwa Oasis, crossing the desert with camels and discovering Al Ain, the garden city, at the foot of Jebel Hafeet.

The race is receiving a huge interest from athletes worldwide. Today over 20 teams, covering 11 nationalities, have registered, the numbers for this first edition being limited to thirty teams.

The race organisation is just back from Abu Dhabi, working on the different options for the race itinerary, before finalizing the route beginning of October.
