Summit Daily News reporting on the AdventureXstream Breckenridge

Devon O'Neil is all over it, posting a great recap to the paper's website hours after what's looking to be a contested finish.

You can find online coverage of the race including a race blog and leaderboard at CheckpointTracker.com.

I would say that Will has an interesting choice to make...however, it seems as though it should be an easy one. Did the rules say all participants must stamp their wristbands? If so, BPN didn't follow the rules and they should be assesed a penalty (along with any other team that didn't follow this. Race directors put these in place to assure all teams have the same advantage. It is a lesson in discipline - slow down and read what you are supposed to do first. What a great lesson for first time or newer teams.

Thanks for the feedback. BPN did punch all their wristbands it just appears they didn't punch them all the way thru. in the dark BPN could not tell that the actual punches didn't take. BPN did not miss a point and all points were reached with all team mates at the same time. it seems a few teams had the same issues. a very obvious rule like this would and should never be overlooked, especially for a team that was in the hunt for a victory.

What everyone should be talking about is not wristbands but what an AWESOME fun, race it was. Beautiful views atop Wheller Trai and awesome singletrack! Thanks Adventure Xtreme for another great race!
