Primal Quest Registration Information

I've gotten a lot of emails lately from racers looking for more information about the race in general and registration in particular. I don't have a lot of details yet...that I can share anyway, but I can point you in the right direction.

Director of Web Services and Lead Photographer Will Ramos has got a temporary site rolling with a few more tidbits than was released with last months announcement. There's a registration information page that will give you an idea of how get your team signed up.

I'm expecting to catch up with Don sometime late next week when he gets back from climbing Denali :-)

Ok since you now have comments I figured I would use it.

$12,500 a team for PQ plus support crew and a reduction is ropes and other amenities.

50% increase in cost and no info on dates. Make one wish they had a big sponsor paying for everything.

I agree. $12,500 is over the top. Too bad as I was looking forward to giving it another whirl. Guess I'll play the lottery and hope for the best.

$12,500.00 for a US race, without TV, without a halfway decent website, registration with a pdf file, in the Rocky Mtn Region again. Hmmmm. You could race in the entire Checkpoint Tracker series for less than that, and you would get to see the whole country. Interested to see if they can pull this together into a remnant of the PQ of old? Looks a little shaky so far.

I'm guessing it is going to be in Colorado again...Ian Adamson was Don's course designer for the BVI (british virgin islands race) so he probably is designing a course in Colorado for PQ. My guess is that it will be where the AdventureExtreme series holds one of their races since permits are already in place and since PQ used their Moab course in 06 for that reason. Hopefully I'm way off and it will be in Alaska!

We're rooting for Alaska too! That would be worth $12,500 in a heartbeat! :)

If I remember right the Beast of the East was supposed to be in Alaska before Mark B scheduled Eco on top of the Beast?

It could happen...
