Musing and Errata on the world of Adventure Racing from the Yak

Look for the official announcement of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge in the next couple of weeks. A new website will be launched at the same time. I'll have a link for you as soon as the site is live. Actually, I have it now, but I'm not ready to share :-)

For now I can tell you that the race is set for December 9th - 16th in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

It will be an unsupported, staged event for 30 coed teams of 4.

The entry is set at 3500 Euro's and includes lodging for two nights prior to the start and one night after the finish (whenever that is for your team), along with food at each camp during the race.

Oh ya, the prize purse is going to on the order of $200,000!!!



One last point. I'm told that you should expect to be spending some time around camels...
