After a very late change in the official rankings of the Odyssey One Day Extreme, Team Checkpoint Zero has been declared the winner of the qualifying slot for the 2006 USARA Adventure Race National Championship. The team actually missed the noon cutoff to be ranked officially, but were the first team to complete the Pro course without being disqualified for rules violations.

They didn't take home the cash prize because they didn't cross the finish line in time, but now they have a goal to motivate them for the rest of the season...bringing home the USARA trophy for Yak's mantle :-)
